- Clasp: A rectangular slide-and-twist Monolith clasp that can interlink with other Monolith pieces.
Design & Making
Curb Thin necklace brings more weight and presence to an everyday necklace, while its flat surfaces catch the light with restraint. The Monolith clasp gives the familiar curb profile a visible point of difference. The clasp was designed and prototyped by Kevin in Auckland, then manufactured by specialist partners in China; the chain is machine-made, quality-checked, then assembled and finished by Kevin in the Auckland studio.
Wear & care
Kevin wore this necklace for one week and found it suited to everyday activity. Showering is acceptable. Clean regularly with silver dip or warm water and mild soap to remove oxidation. Position the clasp at the back or side of the neck and keep it under tension.
