Composition IV brings three graduated freshwater pearls into a precise arrangement of perpendicular sterling-silver bars. An alternative everyday pearl stud, it explores balance and proportion through the space between the pearls and their relationship to the silver line.

Composition begins with an exercise in dots, lines, and surfaces. Here, three pearls become a small field of proportion and negative space, held by precise silver lines. For a deeper look at Kevin’s relationship with pearls, read How I Work with Pearls.
Kevin test-wore these earrings continuously for two weeks, including everyday activity and sleep, and found them comfortable. They may be worn while sleeping, but take care that the silver bars do not catch on fabric or other objects. Clean with fresh water and a soft brush. Avoid silver dip unless it is specifically confirmed safe for pearls, and avoid chemicals, heat, and sharp objects. Showering and swimming are not recommended for pearl health.

Freshwater pearls are natural organic materials and require gentle care. For accidental damage or wear-related service, contact the studio for an assessment.

Ring fittings can be tricky sometimes. Our fingers change slightly and constantly during the day. Here is a 'step-by-step' guideline to help find the right ring size for you.
All of the rings in the store are referenced with both the international UK (A-Z) and US (1-13) measurement.
If you know the existing ring size that fits you, that is perfect.
If not, checkout the Ring Sizing Guideline. Follow the instructions and measure your fingers twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
If your size is not in the options, you can always request for resizing or customisation. Choose the 'Customise' option, and we will follow up with an email.
