Composition III reworks a familiar pearl stud through a fine sterling-silver bar that passes through a hand-picked freshwater pearl. The concealed top post lets the pearl sit lower and nearer the edge of the ear, shifting a classic pearl stud into something lighter, more playful, and contemporary.
Handmade by Kevin Hailiang Yu in the Auckland studio. Composition explores the relationship between dots, lines, and surfaces: the silver line complements the form of the pearl, giving the piece a contemporary edge.

Light and comfortable for extended everyday wear. You may sleep in them, but take care that the silver bar does not catch on delicate fabric, including silk, clothing, or scarves. Showering and swimming are not recommended for pearl health. Clean with fresh water and a soft brush; avoid chemicals, heat, sharp objects, and silver dip unless it is specifically confirmed safe for pearls.
Because freshwater pearls vary naturally, each pair has its own character. If you would like to see the exact pair before ordering, leave a note at checkout to request photo confirmation.
Each pair is made with carefully selected freshwater pearls, whose natural character requires gentle care. For accidental damage or wear-related service, contact the studio for an assessment.

Ring fittings can be tricky sometimes. Our fingers change slightly and constantly during the day. Here is a 'step-by-step' guideline to help find the right ring size for you.
All of the rings in the store are referenced with both the international UK (A-Z) and US (1-13) measurement.
If you know the existing ring size that fits you, that is perfect.
If not, checkout the Ring Sizing Guideline. Follow the instructions and measure your fingers twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
If your size is not in the options, you can always request for resizing or customisation. Choose the 'Customise' option, and we will follow up with an email.
