Monolith Olive Chain pairs a 3 mm olive-link chain with the signature Monolith clasp. The unique construction of this chain balances an urban utilitarian aesthetic with a soft touch, creating a necklace with character for regular wear.
After developing the Monolith clasp, Kevin reviewed more than 30 chain profiles. Olive was one of the first selected for its balance of strength and softness. Each Monolith chain is a small variation in character, occasion, and styling. The clasp can interlink with other Monolith pieces, allowing necklaces to become part of a modular styling system. The olive chain and clasp are manufactured by specialist partners in China; the chain is soldered and hand-assembled in the Auckland studio. Read Inside the Monolith for more about the clasp.
Kevin wore this chain continuously for one week, including normal activity, showering, and swimming, and found its structure sound and robust. Sleeping in the chain is possible but not recommended, as the clasp may lose tension and come off. Position the clasp at the back or side of the neck and keep it under tension.
For Polished Silver and Oxidised finishes, use standard sterling-silver care, including a silver-polishing cloth or silver dip. For Gold plated, clean with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap; do not use any dip.

Ring fittings can be tricky sometimes. Our fingers change slightly and constantly during the day. Here is a 'step-by-step' guideline to help find the right ring size for you.
All of the rings in the store are referenced with both the international UK (A-Z) and US (1-13) measurement.
If you know the existing ring size that fits you, that is perfect.
If not, checkout the Ring Sizing Guideline. Follow the instructions and measure your fingers twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
If your size is not in the options, you can always request for resizing or customisation. Choose the 'Customise' option, and we will follow up with an email.
